How to invite friends to Like my Facebook Page

Unfortunately, we know very well, the new Facebook algorithm has penalized the page managers a lot. The coverage is reduced to the bone and it is increasingly difficult, without having to put your hands to your wallet, to be able to see the counter of our likes go up.

A very important function, used by both Instagram and Facebook to recognize the importance and reach of certain content.

Fortunately, with one of the latest upgrades, Facebook has given admins the ability to invite anyone who has left to like the page a like to one of our posts. This is certainly one of the most interesting tricks of Facebook.

So let’s see together how to invite your friends to like your Facebook page .

Inviting someone who has liked a post: Why should I do it

Before we begin, I want to explain to you why this operation is essential for your business.

As you will have seen by managing your Facebook page, the coverage of posts is now reduced to an all-time low. It is estimated that a fairly viral post only reaches 6-8% of your total fan base.

What does that mean in a nutshell? It means that, trivially, if you have a Facebook page with 100,000 fans in tow, you can be lucky if 6,000 people get to see your post.
But why does this happen? Perhaps Zuckerberg has decided to row against us?

In reality, the matter is far more complex than it may seem. Consider that nowadays there are many Facebook pages that publish different content every day. Basically, over the years, competition to reach the feed of a user has dramatically increased. The algorithm, therefore, has a good job to do to show every single user the content that really might interest them.

This increased competition, added to the fact that Facebook no longer has the appeal it once did , broke the coverage of our posts.

Finally, we add the fact that Mark Zuckerberg himself, in a recent press conference, confirmed that he wants to give priority to posts from friends and groups , further penalizing the page managers.

After this necessary premise, you will have understood that it is necessary to make the most of those few free tools that are still made available to us by Facebook: first of all the possibility to ask those who have liked one of our posts to leave a like and follow our page.

Manually invite those who have liked a Facebook post

There are basically two ways to do this. The first method is the one made available by Facebook: open every single post and click on the invite button corresponding to the name of the person to invite.

Clearly this method is very simple to put into practice. First access your Facebook page through the administrator account. Scroll through the feed until you get to one of the posts. Click on the number of Likes that post has received and a window like this will open. Click on invite and that’s it.

Invitare chi ha messo like ad un post Facebook

In summary, here is the procedure you will need to perform to invite people to like your Facebook page:

  • Log in to your Facebook account
  • Open the feed of the page you manage
  • Click on the number like in correspondence with any post
  • Scroll the list of people and click on Invite in correspondence with their name

Simple right ?! Clearly, there is a maximum limit of invitations that you can send in a limited amount of time. I advise you not to exaggerate too much, otherwise you will not be able to send further invitations for 24 hours.

The manual method is convenient but, of course, has its drawbacks: first of all, the time it takes to open the posts individually and invite your new aspiring followers one by one.

Luckily, a handy Google Chrome extension comes in handy. Let’s see together what it is.

Automatically invite whoever has liked a Facebook post

We have seen the manual method, now let’s move on to the automatic one . It is a simple Google Chrome extension, or Invite Post Likers to Like.

This extension could be installed directly on Chrome, I am talking about the past because, to date, has been removed from the online store . However, I report the steps to use it, should it become available in the future.

Once installed on Chrome, you will notice the extension icon at the top right of your browser.

This extension is free, although in the PRO version it allows you to perform more advanced operations. I sincerely recommend you to buy it, also because the price is around $ 5 monthly and, if you are used to using sponsored posts to increase the number of followers, it is an investment that will save you a a lot of money.

The differences between the free version and the PRO version are, in principle, the following.
With the FREE version, you will only be able to launch the extension while you are in the like screen of a single post, the one above so to speak. The FREE application will invite all the people on that screen.

It is therefore a semi-automatic method, because you will always be the one to open the posts, the software will just scroll through the likes and invite.

With the PRO version, on the other hand, just go in the publishing screen of all your posts (accessible from the publishing tools menu-> published posts) and you can launch the script from here. The program will open every single post by itself, thus inviting all aspiring followers. You will save time and, I’m sure, you will be satisfied with the results.

The extension also allows you to decide the time between one invitation and another and is also able to leave comments for you first name. I honestly limit myself to using it only for invitations, it is still a BOT and Facebook may not like its excessive use. Use it with care, although at the moment I have not encountered any particular restrictions.

Conclusions

As we have seen in this guide, there are still some simple ways to try to increase our presence on social networks without spending a fortune.

Just be persistent, try to create viral and high-impact content, and use some tricks like the one described above.

If if you have any doubts, or know other ways to invite users to like on a Facebook page , feel free to leave a comment.
