Why should I create an incognito profile
Well, let’s not get lost in chatter and let’s get to the action! The first thing you may be wondering is why you should sign up anonymously and untraceable on Facebook. This is a question that you should answer more than me!
Surely, using this method, friends and relatives will never find out about your recording, barring events beyond our control. A profile of this kind could be useful on many occasions, even if your purpose is not really that of not being found by friends and relatives. It is no coincidence that I have already shown you how to do it also on Instagram.
You could, in fact, use it to subscribe to particular Facebook groups, where anonymity or, at least, your personal data, must be safe from prying eyes. Maybe some things you prefer to share only with strangers and not with those who know you personally.
He is human and there is nothing to be ashamed of. It is true, in fact, that social networks were born to interact, but no one has ever said that you have to do it with people you know in real life. You could, for example, be looking for a soul mate. What harm would it be!
In short, as you may have guessed, there are a thousand different cases for which you may need to make yourself unavailable on social networks. We are certainly not here to review your choices. Well, we can proceed.
Take advantage of incognito browsing
The first thing you should definitely do is take advantage of incognito browsing . What is it about? it is a type of navigation that allows you, in fact, to remain anonymous. Of course, don’t believe you are 100% anonymous, in fact your provider or your employer could still easily learn about the pages you visit. So don’t make the mistake of feeling immune.
With the unknown mode you can simply browse in private . This means that other people using the same device as you will not see your activities, but please note that downloads and favorites will still be saved.
The browser will not save simply:
- Browsing history
- Cookies and site data
- Information inserted in the modules
Despite this, you will still be visible to the eyes of
- Managers of the websites you visit
- Your employer or your school
- Your internet service provider
Now that you’ve learned a little more about this type of navigation, let’s see how to use it. In Chrome or Firefox it’s really that simple. If you find the icon in the system tray, just right-click and select “Open new incognito tab”.
With Google Chrome you will see a secret agent ready to welcome you
In Internet Explorer, however, you can activate this mode by going on the icon of the ‘gear at the top right and selecting Security . From here, just click on InPrivate Browsing .
Even on Microsoft’s most modern browser, Edge , the same mode is available. To activate it, go to the three points at the top right and select New InPrivate window.
This is certainly the first step to take to ensure some healthy anonymity .
Don’t appear in search results
Now that you are browsing incognito, you just have to go to the Facebook site. Then type in the address bar www.facebook.com or click directly here.
Now all you have to do is follow the normal registration procedure . Find all the steps in this article.
Follow them step by step and in no time you will have your Facebook account.
Now, in order to pursue our intent to remain anonymous, we will have to make sure that no one can find us by typing our name and surname , both through search engines like Google and through Facebook search same.
We will therefore have to increase the privacy of our profile. Doing so is really very simple. Reach the Facebook settings tab which you can reach, if you are browsing from a PC, the icon at the top right of your profile. From here go to the Privacy.
section From here you will find this option: ‘Do you want search engines outside Facebook to redirect to your profile?’. You can find it in the section Who can look for me? . Click on edit and uncheck to disable this option. By doing this, no one will be able to find you through search engines by typing your name.
This is a first step. The second, as I told you, is to make you unobtainable even from the Facebook search .
You can always do it from the Privacy screen of your profile, that you will have reached from the Settings menu. Here you will find two options “ Who can look for you using the phone number you provided ” and “ Who can look for you using the email address you provided “. All you have to do is disable these two options and nobody will be able to find you on Facebook.
Delete tracks: remove history
If you have not used incognito browsing, as I advised you, or you forgot to do so during a login to your very secret Facebook account, you can always remedy by deleting the history of your browser .
It’s really easy to do this. I’ll show you how to do it on Google Chrome, the procedure for other browsers is very similar and does not need any particular explanation.
- Open Chrome
- At the top right, tap More History .
- Tap Clear browsing data.
- Next to “Time interval”, select the period you want delete the history .
- Select “ Browsing history ”. …
- Click on Clear data.
This way you will have eliminated all traces of your passage.
You are finally ready to get your very secret secret agent Facebook profile! Please make good use of it and remember that nobody on the net is 100% anonymous: your internet service provider and your employer or your school may always know what you do! >
