Instagram is undoubtedly one of the hottest platforms of the moment. Used by over 2.2 billion people around the world, it allows you to have fun by posting funny stories, reels and content within your Feed.
This is a Social Network, owned by Facebook , purely photographic. The mission is in fact to give you the opportunity to take photographs and shoot short videos through your smartphone and immortalize fragments of life, it is no coincidence that Instagram does not provide the possibility of posting through a PC (except for a few small hacks that allow us to bypass this limitation).
If you are here today it is probably because you are interested in seeing the likes posted on Instagram and you don’t know how to do it. In the past, I showed you how to do it on TikTok, today we will see how to do it on social media with the polaroid icon.
Don’t worry, in this guide I will show you step by step the correct procedure to use. In no time you will be able to have a complete and detailed list of all those posts that you liked by rewarding them with a heart reaction .

What is a like
Before getting to the heart of the guide, let’s briefly see what the Instagram like function is and why it is so important to purposes of using the social network.
The like button, already famous on Facebook, also exists on Instagram, however the word “like” does not appear anywhere. Instead of the simple writing, we find a heart-shaped icon . In fact, each post corresponds to a heart. When a post that we see in our feed arouses our interest, we can decide to leave a like.
That way, the person who originally posted the post will know that we liked the content. To like a post, we can simply tap once on the heart-shaped icon that we find next to the post. In this way the heart icon will take on the red color .
Through our smartphone, we can also insert a like by simply double tap on the post of our interest. Also in this case, the heart icon will turn red. Similarly, we can decide to remove our like, by double-tapping the post in question again.
How to see the Instagram posts where I liked
When we leave a like on a post, the information is collected by Instagram within a history of our activities . In this way we will be able to access, at any time, the list of posts to which we have put a like.
Let’s see together how to get this list from PC, from an Android smartphone and finally from iOS devices .
First let’s see how to see the posts you like on a PC with Windows 10 operating system . This procedure cannot be done simply through your browser by going to the instagram.com website
You will also have to install the Windows 10 Instagram app . go to the Microsoft Store . Then open Search on your Windows PC and type Microsoft Store . Now click on Search and type Instagram . Click on the first search result. Now click on Get.
Once the application is installed on your PC, click on Start . Now login with the data you usually use to enter Instagram.
Now click on Edit Profile and go to the Privacy and Security section. You will find the Graphic Organizer entry. Within this section you will have the possibility to obtain the list of most of your activities and information regarding your profile.
Specifically, you will be able to obtain a detailed list of :
- Accounts you follow
- Accounts following you
- Unanswered requests you sent
- Hashtags you follow
- Accounts you have blocked
- Accounts that cannot see your stories
Within the Windows app GUI, however, there is no is the possibility to access the list relating to the history of the likes. If the information contained within the app we have seen is not enough for you, you will need to install an Android emulator , specifically Bluestacks.
This is also available as an App in the Microsoft Store . Just install it exactly as we did for Instagram and simply follow the procedure for Android that I’m about to show you.
Now let’s see how to perform the procedure on one Smartphone with Android operating system. First of all, we will need to have the Instagram app installed on the device. If we have not already done so, we can download it from this link or search for it through Google Play .
Once installed on our device, we open the app by tapping on it and, if we have not done so previously, log in with our access data. To see the likes posted you will need to:
- Tap on the menu icon at the top right
- Tap onSettings
- Tap Account
- Tap Posts you like
Perfect, from here you’ll have access to all the posts you’ve liked since using Instagram.
iPhone / iPad iOS
The procedure for iPhone / iPad with iOS operating system installed is very similar to that seen for Android. First, again, you will need to install the Instagram app for iOS on your device. If you have not already done so, you can download it at this link or search for it directly from Apple Store .
Now you just have to open the app by tapping on the corresponding icon and, to see the likes made, you will have to follow the following procedure:
- Tap on the menu icon that you find at the top right
- Tap Settings
- Tap Account
- Tap Post you like
Done, you will now have access to a detailed list of all those posts you’ve liked in the past.
How to see another person’s likes on Instagram
So far we have seen how to see the likes that we ourselves have left on some posts. A very useful procedure certainly, but perhaps not what you expected.
You probably already know what you like and reviewing your activities is useful to a certain extent. It may be, in fact, that you are more interested in viewing posts that have been liked by your contact and therefore seeing the likes posted by another person on Instagram .
Maybe you are a little jealous person and would like to understand if your partner likes the photos of your possible competitor in love. It’s normal, it happens to everyone at least once in their life.
Instagram once gave you the opportunity to easily get this list. With the latest updates, however, things have changed a bit. The section called “Follow already” , within which you could easily view all the activities carried out by your contacts, has been suppressed.
Currently, the only possible way to to understand if a person has liked certain posts is to position yourself on the offending post, click on the writing “and other n people” and verify that in that list the contact we want is found or not. we want to check the activities.
A procedure undoubtedly a bit awkward, but at the moment it is the only one available to “spy” on the activities carried out by third parties.
As we have seen together, getting the list of posts where we left a heart on Instagram is quite simple. It is a procedure that consists of very few steps.
You just have to follow my advice and monitor your activities whenever you want. If you know other tricks to know the likes posted or to see the likes posted by a friend on Instagram, feel free to write to me and I’ll be happy to share your knowledge by including your hack in this short guide.
