You own an iPhone and would you like to understand how to turn off Instagram Stories notifications? So, to begin with, take your device, unlock it, access the home screen and / or the App Library and start the Instagram app for iOS, by tapping the relevant icon . Now that you see the main screen of Instagram, tap on your profile photo located at the bottom right, then press the button with the horizontal lines located at the top and select the item Settings from the menu that opens.

To do this, go to the profile of the account you are interested in, by tapping the house icon at the bottom of the main Instagram screen, then on the magnifying glass at the top, by typing your account name in the search field displayed and selecting the relevant suggestion from the list that appears.
After going to the account of your interest, tap the Follow already button that you find under the image of the profile, choose Notifications from the menu that opens and turn the switch next to Stories to OFF . That’s it!
Even in this case, if you have to think again, you can enable the receipt of notifications for stories again, simply by clicking on ON the switch located next to the Notifications item in the menu.
As a solution a little more extreme, you can consider turning off all Instagram notifications completely for a specified period of time. To do this, go to your profile, by tapping on your avatar that you find at the bottom right of the main screen of the app, press the button with the lines horizontally located in top and select Settings from the menu that appears.
Next, select the word Notifications , set the ON switch to Pause all and indicate, using the menu that is shown to you, for how long you want to disable all notifications, choosing between: 15 minutes , 1 hour , 2 hours , 4 hours or 8 hours .
At the end of the defined time, all notifications will be automatically enabled again. And if you want to disable the option first, simply set the switch next to the item to OFF Pause all on the screen and that’s it.
