Instagram Stories: Increase views and engage your followers

Remember, your Instagram profile CANNOT ignore stories! An Instagram profile that does not publish stories is synonymous with an inactive, “dead” profile. To date, stories are a Must-Have! They are used by more than 300 million users a day, how can you ignore them?

Not publishing stories means leaving a great opportunity on the table.

As soon as a new user arrives on your profile, he mainly looks at 2 things. The Biography and the Contents in evidence. Writing an effective Biography is essential, but you definitely can’t afford to overlook the featured stories.

My advice is to use the featured stories as if they were a sort of Trailer, of your life and your brand, depending on what type of Instagram profile you are using.

In case you are managing a personal profile, in the featured stories you can certainly post photos of some of your best trips and maybe even post a short presentation of who you are or what you do.

While, if you are running a brand, a great way to engage your followers is to publish all the story of the brand or the story that is present in every single product in the featured stories. A great idea I can give you is to publish the product creation process! In my case, the latter kind of stories aroused a lot of interest from the public and I received many questions about the product I was selling!

Try to be as original as possible in your Instagram Stories

As I wrote above, Instagram has really released a ton of new story updates. Well, use them all (or almost all) and make your stories unique.

On Instagram one of the factors most appreciated by the whole community is its originality and creativity. You must always try to stand out from the others and you must be able to provide unique and quality content, always.

You can use a lot of features for your Instagram Stories, surely the ones that have worked the most for me are polls and questions .

When I post polls or questions in my stories, as if by magic most of my followers are activated and interact with my stories! If you haven’t done it yet, I highly recommend you try these two functions now!

Instead of writing to you “post constantly” that if you read blogs or communities you have heard this many times, I would like to address another point.

What can you do if you run out of ideas and can’t maintain a constant publication of Instagram stories?

I’ve asked myself this question too, many times. We are human and it is normal not to always have interesting ideas or stories to share with others, but it is also true that profile without stories = dead profile. What is the solution to this problem?

I really think I’ve found the solution to this problem, I solved it by reposting other users’ instagram stories .

If you’re running out of ideas, why not repost some page stories, profiles that we like and know our audiences may like too? (Always remember to tag the profile you report it from in the story!)

Even for Instagram stories, videos have the upper hand!

Yes, videos are the favorite content of the Instagram community, through and through! According to the statistics, even in the stories users prefer to see videos than simple photos.

It’s the Hashtags! Even in Instagram stories, Hashtags!

Just like feed posts, Hashtags can be added to Stories, and if you’re looking to get more views on your Instagram Stories, you can’t do without them.

Adding hashtags to your Stories is a great way to give your content an extra chance of being discovered by a new audience.

In fact, when people search for a #hashtag on Instagram, if it’s popular enough, they’ll be able to view live, active stories on that hashtag’s page, including your story! And of course they like what they see, they can also tap follow on your profile.

The rules on which hashtags to insert in the stories are identical to those of the posts, the only difference is the limit number.

In the stories you can add up to 10 hashtags or one using the Hashtag sticker (while in posts the maximum limit is 30).

Don’t you like your followers to see hashtags in your stories? Or do you think they ruin the aesthetics of your story?

Sure at first you might feel embarrassed, but I’m sure you’ll soon realize how people appreciate your interest in them. Remember that a simple question on Instagram can lead to a real chat! Only by doing so can you make all your followers participate 100%! And you will be able to create an incredible expectation for your Stories! Give your audience a voice too, don’t be the only one to speak!
